Am back, have slept (doesn’t show!), might be able to put together vaguely cogniscent blog. Might.
Ireland, whilst not a fun-in-the-sun bundle of laughs, went well. Relatives all still seem to be on side (i.e. we have not been disowned) and sensitive topics such as my so-not-happening-but-they’re-not-to-know-that confirmation (into the church), who we actually want to win the U.S. election (we’ve agreed Bush should go), women priests/bishops etc. were successfully, in most cases, skirted around. On the negative I’ve been fed more than I thought humanely possible and feel as if I need a gastric bypass!
Upon returning to England we discovered there had been a day or two of good weather and we’d missed them! Luckily the sun did continue, well, up until I broke out the vest tops and shorts upon which thunder, lightning and a downpour of raid ensued. Typical.
Other such delights that awaited me on my return included the dawning realization that I had three websites to write in one week (for which I am being paid wages that equate to slave labour!) and two week to learn/create the drum score to the musical “Fame!”. All quite exciting (to me anyway), but not doing to much for my now somewhat panicked mental state!
Nonetheless, I am still hoping to get something done for Party-Truffle.net, if only (at the moment) a few blogs and the concept for my next layout (yes, I’m tired of this one already)!
Anyone doing anything exciting over the summer season?
